Clarence Smith Jr.
My name is Clarence Smith and I'm a digital marketing professional with extensive experience leading strategic, web-based marketing initiatives. Far from your average comic book loving, sports fanatic, digital marketing professional. My talents include in-depth, hands-on knowledge of all components comprising digital marketing and development. I am able to plan and develop targeted digital marketing campaigns that exceed goals and expectations in boosting brand awareness and driving consumer sales. Recognized as a thought leader and creative thinker with the ability to build relationships, lead digital marketing campaigns and work with cross-functional teams, I thrive on the thrill of exceeding expectations.
By day to day I work for the consumer packaged goods (CPG) company NFI Consumer Products as the Marketing Manager. We operate primarily in the health and wellness category, but we also carry cosmetic products. We are also the proud makers of the nationally know brand Blue-Emu. Our spokespersons include hall of fame athletes Johnny Bench (Baseball legend) and Richard "The King" Petty (NASCAR legend).
For my college years I attended King College where I played for the men's varsity basketball team as an undergrad and also received my bachelors degree. I double majored in Marketing and Sports Management. I then advanced to King University to receive my Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
I have a genuine passion for all things marketing, especially digital marketing. Whether I'm helping a friend or family member increase awareness for a new start-up business or increasing sales revenue on my company's eCommerce website - It's always exciting to help a brand realize its true potential.
As a digital marketing professional I have an inherent appreciation for technology. Simply put, I love my gadgets. I'm actually writing this bio on my new SurfacePro3 tablet, which I would highly suggest to anyone looking for a tablet that you can actually do real work on.
When I'm not busy being a "nerd" or "workaholic", I enjoy playing a few games of pickup basketball. I find that it's great stress reliever (it can get intense out there) and it helps me to stay in shape. I played five years of college basketball and that experience has helped shape me into the man I am today. Whether it's my competitive nature, hard work ethic or love for the camaraderie that comes with succeeding together as a team, I get things done.
